Perfect Jacket for Hiking Trip
Bought this jacket for a several day hiking trip and it didn’t disappoint. The light weight, size small is a perfect fit for my 5’2”, 130 lb. frame. I was able to layer with a tee-shirt and a long sleeve underneath. When I got too warm, it easily packed in my backpack and wasn’t wrinkled when I took it out. More importantly it worked great in wind and rain. The hood is adjustable and isn’t too oversized. I used the hood a lot. The jacket also kept me completely dry during a steady rain for 30+ minutes. Temps were between 35 and 55 F, and this jacket (with layers underneath) was perfect for keeping the wind and cold out while hiking. Style wise, the jacket is basic, not fussy, with two outside zipper pockets and an inside zip pocket. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

Adventure Raincoat that fits “Just Right.”
This raincoat is perfect for Autumn/Spring. It will keep you dry and well protected against *typical* autumn/spring rain, winds and temperatures. It’s also tailor made for those on the go: traveling, walking, hiking, biking. It has “pulls” to help you fit it around yourself, keeping you snug, dry and moving easily, even in a storm.(1) Weight/thickness: though advertised as “lightweight” it does have enough thickness to offer warmth from cold winds. AND it also has zippers under the arms that can be opened to cool you down if it gets too warm. Its very “Goldilocks” not too heavy/light, not too thick/thin, not too warm/cool. Just right.(2) Pockets: Front pockets are deep enough to carry a small, fold up umbrella (with handle sticking out). The outer, left chest pocket (de rigueur for jackets now) is perfect for a cellphone, while the inner chest pocket keeps important items (like passport or wallet), hidden and extra dry.(3) Hood: Hood has three pulls, one on either side and one at the crown, making it easy to fit your head and keep it well covered.(4) Sleeves: Sleeves have velcro patches allowing for the cuffs to be sealed tight.(5) Bottom: There are also pulls at the hips so you can also fit the bottom snugly.NOTES: These are not “cons,” just things to be aware of:(A) Size Up: size, according to chart, is likely to be too tight and short. Consider going up a size.(B) Folding Up: I recommend you take a photo of the directions on how to fold the jacket. It pretty much has to be folded that way if you want to fit it into its tiny pouch. Make sure to roll it up tight as well. It can be made to fit, and this does make it easy to pack in luggage or duffel. But it’s not super compact or super light (see below).(C) This jacket is not long enough or heavy enough for freezing winter downpours; nor is it light, thin, compact enough to carry in a pocket or purse and throw on over a teeshirt and shorts during a quick summer shower. It’s very much in the middle. Practical, pretty, and well designed for autumn/spring, rainy-day adventures (or places where temperatures and rains feel that way).

Fit is good
This rain jacket looks to be a keeper. I am 160 lbs, 5’5” and chose the XL size. The fit is roomy enough to add a light sweater underneath. It has 4 pockets, 3 with zippers and a drawstring hood which sinches from the back. That feature eliminates the front from falling over the eyes. I like that. The length is good by being a little longer in the back to cover your rear. The sleeve length is a bit long but it has Velcro on the cuffs. I can deal with that. The fabric appears to be of a good quality with a mesh lining and does repel water easily. It will be a good windbreaker as well. I will be taking a trip to Mexico next month at the beginning of the rainy season so I will put it to the test and see how well it will perform.

Beautiful, Quality, Rain Jacket; Insufficient, Not Packable Bag
This is a beautiful, quality jacket, with an insufficient packable bag. The jacket is very comfortable with a large hood that will keep rain off of your face. Its material is a quality, smooth fabric; not a plastic bag feel at all. The mesh lining keeps you comfortable and unlike my Columbia rain jacket that is not lined, it does not stick to my arms, when wet. I will enjoy this on my trip to Switzerland and it will be my go-to rain jacket when I return. The size chart indicated that I needed a medium, but I got a large, for more room across my chest. The sleeves are a bit long, but I love the overall fit. I’m 5’3″ and weight 140. Love the look and fit of this jacket; hate the tiny, useless bag. It would be nice to increase the size of the bag for those who are traveling and required to use small suitcases. You can only get the jacket half way in the pouch no matter how tight you fold it. Measurements with jacket halfway in pouch is 12″ long, 16 ” in circumference! Jacket gets 5 stars; the bag 0.

Wear it all the time.
This is a perfect multi-season coat! It layers well depending on weather conditions. I have worn it from the 35 to 65 F and in rain and windy conditions. It folds up small and is great for travelling. I ordered black… so it actually dresses up nicely. I am 5’3″ and 135 lbs and ordered small – it has plenty of room for a sweatshirt or sweater underneath.

A very flattering and functional jacket!
Buy this rain jacket! Having tried to find an affordable jacket of good quality from Amazon over the years, this jacket exceeded my expectations for fit, quality of fabric, and usefulness. First, the fit is true to size with a smidge of extra room for a flannel shirt or thin sweater layered underneath. I’m 5’8″ with broad shoulders and athletic build, and bought the XL as my arms are long and I want to cover my rear. The jacket is lined in a soft, breathable mesh on top and a smooth fabric below waist, allowing it to slip over clothes easily. There are a variety of pockets placed nicely which don’t add bulk. I bought the fog blue color which is very pretty, like a periwinkle flower. Today I’m testing the jacket in the rain as it’s light showers all day. I’m confident I’ll be toasty and dry in my new jacket, and may even get a second in another color if it performs in the wet conditions.

Very good jacket to protect against the wind, with a jumper underneath you can be warm even with 5 degrees outside. If it doesn’t rain a lot it keeps you dry
