This is a sun hoodie, promising sun protection. I was so happy when I tried this on. It fits true to size. I am 5 ft 7 inches and weigh 175. This navy blue hoodie is a true navy blue. The jacket can easily be zipped up or worn open. This is a very light material, like a shirt. It is very breathable and will dry quickly if one gets it wet. I use it as a layering jacket on hot summer days, because when I do errands, some stores are very cold with air conditioning. This jacket adds just the right amount of warmth for running errands. It is ideal to wear at the beach because it covers all of my arms, my back, shoulders and chest. I have had a history of questionable spots from sunburns in my younger days, so now I am very careful about covering up. This jacket is great because it can be machine washed and dried. It comes out looking like brand new. I highly recommend this jacket for sun protection and light weight layering styles.

I I ordered a Women’s Long Sleeve Sun Shirt, Cobalt Crush color in a size small.I’m 5’4” tall and weigh around 125 lbs. I found this sun shirt to be on the larger side. I thought it would be more form-fitting since I ordered a small, but it was significantly larger than I expected. I’m not suggesting that their size guide is incorrect; I’m simply saying that I typically wear a small to medium size and ordered a small, which was still too big for my liking.The fabric is 100% polyester, and I found it to be stretchy, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. It’s also machine washable, which is always a great feature.This women’s solid-colored sun shirt has a front zipper closure for easy on and off.And the SPF 50+ UV protection is definitely an added, plus, especially for where I live.I discovered two front pockets, and also noticed that on the inside of the jacket, near where the outside pockets are located, there are openings deep enough to store your phone, where it would be worn on the inside of the sun shirt. I actually like this feature, it might not have been intentional, but is surely usable.It also has long sleeves with thumb holes and an attached hood, adding a touch of style to this otherwise plain sun shirt.I noticed throughout this entire jacket is double-stitching, and the inside seams have a finished stitch, making this a much better quality sun-shirt.OVERALL…I like the hood, thumb holes, front zipper closure, and pockets. However, I wish I had ordered an extra small size.I would say this is a great lightweight, breathable jacket to wear during spring, summer and fall.However, I wish I had ordered an extra small size.I believe this sun shirt is of good quality, but it’s a bit pricey.

Excellent UV jacket from Champion, but does run a little big
I have a LOT of UPF hoodies, 3/4 zips, and jackets. I have been wearing this one on the daily, even if it’s beyond a walk on the beach in the morning.Why?This material is fabulous. Instead of being made with that “ice silk,” it’s a non-slick polyester that manages to keep the skin cool. The hood is generous as well, but I do think this might run on the slightly larger side than true-to-fit. I usually buy a large so there’s room for my chest. I did buy a medium because other Champion clothes I have tends to run large. I am glad I got the medim or else there would be so much more fabric.The sleeves have thumbholes that don’t pull on the space between your thumb and index finger. The sleeves are long enough to cover the top of the hand and keep the sleeve in place. Zipper is a little oversize and the same color as the fabric. I love the fact that it’s the same vibrant pink color as this fabric. It opens and closes easily, too. No tugging.This washes perfectly on cold and is nearly dry when the washing machine stops, so I just hang it to dry.
