I love the color with the classy contrasting gold tone zipper. The fit is great! It feels nice, very comfy, but sleek. Nice quality all around. I also bought it in black. They wash up nicely too! Gentle cycle and cold water. I hang dry mine so the colors do not fade. It is a medium weight hoodie, perfect for all around seasons!

Absolutely love this sweatshirt! So soft and warm and a cotton blend, so hard to find cotton anymore! It fits roomy, like a hoody but with a little more shape and very flattering. I wear running gear all the time and this is such a nice change with the cotton blend with the same look and fit. Nice enough to wear to work! Love it so much I’m purchasing a second color. I’m a proportionate 5″3″, 160 lbs and I bought a large, fits beautifully with just enough room to spare. I washed and dried on low and it came out perfect, little to no shrinking, just softened up more and looks great on. I highly recommend this sweatshirt jacket, it’s warm, well made, and fits beautifully!

Affordable dupe to popular name brand zip-up hoodie
I was very excited to get this product and I bought it because I was looking for a more affordable version of the Lulu SCUBA zip hoodie. I have a Lulu SCUBA zip hoodie I received as a gift and really love it, but it’s too pricey for my budget to buy myself. So, I read the reviews on Amazon for this THE GYM PEOPLE zip-up hoodie and it seemed worth a try. Here are my thoughts after one washing and wearing for the first time – btw, I always wash new clothing before I wear it; I washed this zip-up hoodie in warm water and dried it on a delicate setting (low) until most of the dampness was gone, then air dried the rest of the way by laying flat. 1) MATERIAL: I agree with other reviewers that THE GYM PEOPLE zip-up hoodie is not as thick of material as the Lulu version, but it’s still thick enough to keep you warm on a chilly day (say in the 60s). 2) ZIPPER: I also agree with other reviewers that the zipper seems to be the Achilles heel of this product. It often sticks when I try to zip it up and it makes a noise that is reminiscent of a noise a zipper makes when it’s about to go kaput (hence the 4 stars and not 5). 3) FIT: I wear a size 12 in the Lulu SCUBA zip hoodie and followed the AI directions on Amazon that said I should order a Medium on THE GYM PEOPLE zip-up hoodie. These directions worked out well for me. The fit is pretty close to how the Lulu SCUBA zip hoodie fits me – it’s more tailored and form-fitting, which I prefer. (I am 5’8″ and 155 lbs.) 4) SLEEVES/SLEEVE LENGTH: I’ve historically always had issues with sleeves being way too short as I have long arms; the Lulu version sleeve length, however, always fit perfectly – a little longer than/past your wrist bone, but not covering your whole hand up; THE GYM PEOPLE zip-up hoodie sleeve length for my size Medium is just a tad shorter, but not so short enough that it bothers me, and feels like I’m constantly trying to stretch the arms out to make them fit my long arms. 5) HIPS/WAIST/ARMS: Again, I prefer a more form/tailored fit like my Lulu SCUBA zip hoodie fits me, and I’d say that this one is almost identical barring that the arms are not as tailored as the Lulu version. They are not overly huge, but again, just not as tailored/form fitting as the arms on the Lulu version. The hip band is nice and stretchy (but not like elastic-stretchy) and fits a bit past my hips – right where I want it. The waist area is slightly tailored, not baggy, and not so tight that you feel like you can’t breathe. 6) COMFORT: The hoodie has a very soft inside that I guess is a type of lightweight fleece (though I tend to think of fleece as more spongey-like and this is not. This hoodie like what many sweatshirts are like on the inside.) Even though my hoodie fits more tailored, it is not uncomfortable at all; I think it’s very comfortable and even when wearing the hood as well — the hood has good coverage and even fits over the top of my beanie cap, and I love the zip all the way up to cover the neck area to stay warm. 7) QUALITY: I would like to buy a second THE GYM PEOPLE zip-hoodie in another color, but I may wait to see how this zipper holds up. I don’t have a way to replace zippers and there is no one in my area who does that kind of seamstress work, either. As far as stitching and craftsmanship, I have not noticed anything aberrant so far and workmanship/craft seem fine, though again, I’ve only washed it one time. I did notice that this product does not have the ribbon-like material on the underside of the sweatshirt to help to secure the zipper to the garment as on the Lulu version.

I’ve worn this now for about a month, I wear it almost every other day to keep warm while working. I’ve washed it at least three times, and I really am impressed with the inside of the jacket as it doesn’t get all pulled ugly like other fleece does. It stayed smooth and velvety. The way it covers your neck also if you zip it all the way up it’s really nice. I particularly enjoyed using it on a day. I went to an arboretum garden and spent the entire day outside 40° weather, I had it under my light coat and it was fantastic, it made it so I could layer and remove my coat or put my coat back on easily.The thumb holes are an extra added benefit. I can’t tell you how many times I get into my car and realize I don’t have my gloves on me, but at least I’ve got the long sleeves with thumb holes.The zipper is the thicker kind and I think it’s good but it’s not like the highest end zipper, it does have a place where it sticks a tiny bit but it hasn’t really given me any problems.

Esta sudadera (scuba) es igual a la foto: estilo, color tamaño muy parecido a las Lulu. Queda un poquito amplia pero está bien si la deseas como chamarra. De buena calidad, tela suave y cómoda. I thought this jumper would be fleece all over. It did seem to wash nicely. Wish there were cords on the hood.
