Soft and adjustable, a great combo for a sports bra
I love this bra so far. My normal wired bras are 34D so I can wear on the last hook and tighten as they wear and loosen. Based on others' recommendations of the band NOT being stretchy, I ordered this one in the sister size of 36C and it fits perfectly. I love the color, the royal blue is my team color – not that any of them will ever see it, LOL! I've already ordered two more in beige. Can't wait to donate my really old ones and have something new. I love the gel straps too – one of my complaints with my old sports bras was they were tight at the shoulder. They were like pullover bras but with a hook and eye fastener, and the straps weren't adjustable. This new one checks all the boxes for me. The double-fabric cups are nice and they don't squish the girls like my old bras, and the fabric is so soft. I haven't had a chance to wear it playing softball, but I'll update my review when I do.

    I began my physical fitness journey doing low impact aerobics 40 years ago after the birth of my son, and I needed to lose weight. That is when I purchased my first Champion sports bras which, believe it or not, I have continued to wear. But when the elastic began to crackle, I decided it was time to invest in new bras. My workouts of choice are strength training, weight lifting, and high intensity interval training with barre sprinkled in as well; it should be noted that I do not do high impact training or running. I first tried the big box sports stores, but neither carried Champion. Since Champion had served me well all of this time, I wanted to stay with that brand but kept an open mind and researched other brands. Enter Amazon Prime Day. I finally decided on these bras and ordered two in white and two in nude upsizing the band size by one size as most of the reviews suggested. They are heavenly! Yes, I fully realize that after 40 years bras, like everything else, have come a long way. As time has gone on, it has become more difficult for me to remove racer back bras (which I have always worn and loved) and almost impossible when I am sweaty after a workout, so a back hook-and-eye closure was mandatory even though I was skeptical. When I opened the package the first things I noticed were how light the bras felt in my hand, the quality of the construction, and the overall appealing aesthetic. The straps are wide and soft with a quilted feeling and gel padding preventing chafing and the "digging into the shoulder" effect; the straps are also easily adjusted. The closure in the back has three rows of three hooks for fine tuning the snugness of the band. While doing exercises which require lying on my back, there have been no problems from the bra which actually surprised me. Even though there is no padding the material is sufficiently substantial so that there is no see-through, and I have not been victim of the dreaded "nippling" effect. This underwire free bra has a nice quality, heavy duty elastic band that, after sizing up one, fits perfectly securely, sits firmly but is not too tight, and does not fold, pinch or buckle. The material feels soft and almost silky on the skin with no rubbing or irritation. There is no feeling of being drenched from sweat with the moisture wicking technology, and the mesh portion of the fabric facilitates air flow. During workouts these bras have offered good compression and support yet allowed me to move freely in all directions with no interference. I have worn these bras for high intensity interval training, strength conditioning, weight lifting, and walking, and I could not be more pleased with them. After ordering the first 4, I subsequently have ordered a black one with my only regret being that I did not order more! I actually called my sister and told her about the bra; she promptly ordered 4 for herself. These bras are extremely comfortable and are one of the most comfortable bras (not just sports bras) that I have ever worn; I almost feel as if I am not wearing a bra at all the feel is so lovely. For my purposes, this bra is as close to perfection as a bra could get. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

    One of the best sports bras I have owned

    Within the last week I ordered 3 of the same Champion Women's Spot Comfort Full Support Sports Bra on Amazon: white/black/pink. I initially purchased the Champion Women's "Spot" Comfort Full Support Sports Bra from Kohl's within the last week (Mid-March2022) from their sale rack. I am 73 y/o. Working remotely for the last 2 yrs. due to the pandemic, I really didn't have an opportunity to wear most of my bras, other than the over-the-head and racer-back models until recently. In my younger years, my bra size was 34DD. When I recently pulled out all my bras that were not sports bras, none of them fit me. Unfortunately, when one get older one tends to lose all the fat in the upper part of each breast. The DD cup size was way too big. So, off to the bra shop I went and was sized 32C or D, depending on the bra. Personally, I think 32 is too tight for the band, so I decided to go with 34. Anyway, after the bra shop, I went to Kohl's and found the Champion bra in a 34D in gray. I looked at it and thought "This will never work", as there is no underwire or molded cup inside. I was shocked when I put the bra on, felt how comfortable it was and decided to buy it. I am very active and go to the gym daily for either cardio spin 4 times a week, weight lifting/training, and walking/sprints on the indoor track, so I sweat a lot. For me this bra is very comfortable, fits me perfectly, and I do not mind the "slight" unaboob look. At this age, comfort is more important than sexy at the gym. The white Champion bra I ordered came yesterday, and I'm wearing it today while I work and write this review. The black and pink are supposed to arrive later today. Earlier reviews years past, reported the inside seams itched/chafed the skin, but the seams in the gray bra I purchased at Kohl's and the white one I'm wearing today have the inside seams covered quite well and I've had no itching/chafing. Yesterday, I took the day off and was at the gym for several hours doing my cardio/weight lifting routines. I had no problems with the gray bra. Even though I am 120lbs/5'4", some bras are cut under the arms in a way that squeezes the skin out from under my arms/on the sides, very ugly. This bra, at least on me, does not do that. I have a smooth fit under my arms/sides/back. I'm hoping the black and pink bras fit the same way. It just seems that Champion has taken the negative reviews over the years regarding this "Spot Comfort Full Support Sports Bra" and greatly improved it. For me, it's a winner at the gym and beyond.

    3/22/22 update: I received the pink and black bras after I wrote the above review. I've worn the grey bra again to the gym and the white and pink. All held up well under intense cardio, bench pressing, deadlifts and free weights. The bras seem to wick away the moisture well. All seem to wash well, but I use a lingerie bag. I do not put in the bras in the dryer. I continue to be pleased with this style and the performance.

    3/1/24: I don't own stock in the company, and I'm not an employee. I'm still wearing these bras to run and workout. They are great and are still holding up. I wish the company would make the a front-closure, racerback high impact sports bras with the same material. Maybe someday.

    Top quality with one exception.

    While the quality and comfort of this bra is top notch, it isn't quite for me. I did give 4 stars because it is of great quality, support and comfort and those are very important for a sports bra, but for me this bra did not provide enough of a lining to conceal nipples. It also, being a high impact bra, flattens my chest more than any of my other sports bras. These are just personal preferences though and nothing wrong with the bra. If this had a bit thicker lining in the right places, I would use only this bra, but as it stands I show through and that makes me uncomfortable. If you don't generally have a problem showing through your bras, this may provide enough lining for you. I tend to need a bit thicker lining in general to conceal. The shoulder straps are cushioned and amazingly comfortable and I love that I can run in this and not jiggle all over the place. It definitely provides high impact support as it states! Once I tried it on I realized I prefer my sports bras that are T back because all of my workout clothes are also T back, but again that is personal preference. I ordered the size I wear in a Victoria Secret bra and it fit perfectly, so if you have recently been fitted there (I say there in case other companies measure and fit differently) then your VS size should be accurate. I loved the fact that this hooks in the back like a normal bra with three eye hooks because it is MUCH easier to get off than traditional sports bras. In the end, I gave this to my daughter because of my need for a thicker lining and she loves it and the lining is not an issue for her, so this definitely is a body specific issue.

    Not suitable for D+ joggers/ runners (but still a great bra)

    This bra is comfortable, supportive, well-made, and a good price. I ordered up one from my usual band size and down a cup size (just because they don't offer my usual size) and it fits great.

    Unfortunately it doesn't really hold up on the treadmill portion of my workout. If you're larger-chested and need to be "locked in" during high-impact activities like running, you probably need to keep looking (and spend more on something with more structure and wires).

    Good bra but disappointed my size is no longer available

    I've worn Champion Maximum Support High Impact bras for years, though various style changes and I've always loved them. I always bought 36DDD and it fit me well and gave me great support. Unfortunately, Champion apparently has discontinued selling that size. The 36DD was the best of the not really great fits in this bra style, so I'm going with it, but won't buy another. I tried adjacent sizes (38DD and 38DDD) but the band was too big on me to give me the support I need. I hope Champion will bring back 36DDD for those of us who need a big cup and a small band size.

    For reference, my size in non-sports bras is a 32-34 band and HH-J cup in UK sizing. But it's very hard to find sports bras in that size.

    I've been wearing this Champion bra for decades for running and HIIT workouts. I love the support, I find it comfortable and it lasts a very long time! I do believe they are running a bit tighter than in years past. As I have put on weight over the years I have gone up to a size 42 B. I often have to order 42 C due to being out of stock, but the bigger cup works fine. I wish they made a size 44. It does not provide an attractive sillouhette. My girls look like big squashed hamburger buns. But it is the high impact support I am wanting, so all good.

    Total support for running

    I’m writing this review after wearing this brand/style of bra since May, roughly 11 months. For starters, I purchased my first one from a store so I was already aware that I needed to go up one size in the band from what I was used to wearing. So if you wear a 36 I would go with a 38, from my experience. I have purchased a few dozen of these bras starting with a size 40DD last May and currently I’m in a 36DD. I’ve got to have a sports bra with a super snug fit for running! With that being said I found it very difficult to find a moisture wicking sports bra that would keep me cool during long runs as well as totally supported. This is the best bra I’ve found to date. I’m training for a marathon so I log a lot of miles in this style bra approximately 5 days a week. Hence why I have purchased so many bras from this seller over the past year. Shipping has always been fast, I always choose prime which arrives in 2 days. The quality is great. I wash the bras on delicate and I always hang dry them. They dry incredibly quick since they are moisture wicking. The only CON I have about this bra is the adjustable strap, during my run it tends to slide down. Not the bra strap but the adjuster on the strap. I always adjust the strap to the tightest amount prior to putting it on, I’m assuming this happens because of my bigger chest size and the long distance I’m running, or all of the sweat but I’m not positive. It’s not a big issue or something I even notice while I’m running because I’m too tired to really care at that point but I’m worried as I continue to increase my miles that I will have an issue with support. The longest distance I’ve run in these bras have been 18 miles at a time so I’ll update this review if the strap placement sliding becomes a problem with further distance. I would recommend this bra for high impact without a doubt at this time! Now, my only other complaint is actually with the seller. Again, I’m constantly purchasing this bra so that I have enough to make it through the week without doing laundry. I dislike the constant price increase/decrease. It really bothers me that one week I pay $19.99 and then the following week the price is $29.99 for the same bra in the same color. That’s caused me to start looking elsewhere to purchase these bras at a more consistent price. Other than that I haven’t had any issues with purchasing from this particular seller. I hope this helps!

    First the good;
    Very Soft and stretchy fabric it's really comfortable. Its well made – sturdy- a great value for the price ($19). The fit is true to size so it's perfect for medium impact workouts. The bra stretches out with wear, but washes well, and shrinks back to the original size

    Second, the not great;
    This is not a high impact sports bra. It's fine for short runs, but the clasps on the straps slip down, so over the course of 30 min the straps are too long and the girls bounce uncomfortably. Would like to believe it's just this bra, but nope, all my champion bras have this issue.
    Not flattering. The fit is compressive, but gives me "loaf" boobs,with some side to side movement.

    It's a fine bra for the price but I'm not ready to give up my walcoal underwire sports bra, even at 3x the price.
